A taxi turned left off Madison onto East 126th Street and struck a 49-year-old woman walking outside the intersection. She took the hit to the head and went into shock on the pavement. At 126th and Lexington, a pickup driver failed to yield and hit a 48-year-old woman who had the signal. On Park Avenue at East 119th, a speeding driver turned right and knocked down a 26-year-old man in the crosswalk. On the FDR, two drivers ran over a 22-year-old man and killed him.
